What is our Festival?
This event is for all lovers of fantasy, science fiction, and horror who have ever watched a movie or read a book and wished the characters were more like you.
Decolonization is all about creating worlds without the limits colonial history has placed on us—and that’s what this festival is all about.
What Should You Expect?
Three days of performances, games, panels, and meeting new folks in our community. The Decolonize and Discover festival was designed to cater to adults and families alike. Pasts festivals have included:

The performances and the majority of planned activities will be taking place in the tavern. This area is accessible by car and if needed staff will be available to drive attendees and their mobility devices there for them.

There will be ASL interpreters present for scheduled panels and spoken word performances. If you would like to volunteer please reach out to us HERE.

All events presented by Sanctum World Simulations have a dedicated decompression room in the front of the tavern. There there will be ear plugs, sun glasses and activities available for attendees that might need them.

In addition to our cabins for rent, but there is A LOT of camping space. Should you bring your own tent, we can direct you to a good spot. Campers and RVs are allowed in the parking lt, but please contact our staff for details.
